Position Summary As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in protecting our organization from cyber threats. You will work closely with other IT and cyber security professionals to monitor, analyze, and respond to cyber security incidents, ensuring our systems and data are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Threat Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor network traffic, system logs, end point detection and other cyber security systems and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Incident Response: Respond to and investigate cyber security alerts, data breaches, network intrusions, and execute incident response tasks. Vulnerability Management: Conduct a review of vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate security weaknesses. Reporting and Documentation: Create and address cyber security tickets that support internal and external cyber security organization tasks based on process procedures and verbal guidance.
