Account Executive
Celonis, a global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to join their North America Enterprise Sales Team. This role focuses on acquiring new clients within the High Tech sector and expanding relationships with existing enterprise accounts. The Account Executive will report to the High Tech Sales Director and collaborate with Value Engineers and Business Development Representatives to drive growth.
In this position, the Account Executive will identify and develop opportunities within a defined territory, targeting enterprise accounts to secure new business. They will manage the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and qualification to closing six-figure deals. Building and nurturing relationships across multiple lines of business, including C-level executives and key decision-makers, is essential. The role also involves delivering tailored solutions by understanding customer challenges and demonstrating how Celonis’ solutions can address their strategic and operational needs. Additionally, the Account Executive will present compelling use-case-driven pitches and demos, collaborate with partners such as Big 4 consulting firms and SaaS providers, and leverage internal resources to drive success.
Candidates should have over 8 years of proven SaaS sales experience, with a strong track record in enterprise SaaS sales and new business acquisition. Experience managing complex sales cycles within large enterprise accounts is required. Familiarity with enterprise business applications such as Analytics, BI, or ERP, and the ability to engage senior executives (e.g., CFO, COO, CSCO, CPO) is essential. A solid understanding of business processes and key performance indicators across functions like Finance and Supply Chain is necessary. Experience or expertise in selling to specific industries is advantageous. Strong communication skills, exceptional presentation abilities, and a collaborative mindset are crucial for success in this role.
