The Account Executive, Data Feed & API at PitchBook is responsible for selling the company's API and data feed solutions. This role is part of the Core Accounts group, which serves a diverse clientele across banking, investing, advisory, and other industries. The position focuses on understanding client needs, industry dynamics, and PitchBook's data capabilities to deliver tailored solutions that drive customer success.

Key responsibilities include consulting with clients and prospects to assess the suitability of PitchBook's data feed and API solutions within their processes. The Account Executive collaborates with Account Management and Customer Success teams to sell these solutions, proactively explores opportunities to deepen commercial relationships, manages a pipeline of client projects and sales opportunities, and accurately forecasts the opportunity pipeline on a regular basis. Additionally, the role involves driving innovation by identifying new ways to serve customers and sell products, advancing knowledge of customers' businesses, and participating in various company initiatives.

The ideal candidate has over two years of experience in business development or customer success in a revenue-generating role. Experience with customer-facing data feed and API solutions, particularly RESTful APIs, is essential. The role requires a willingness to learn database concepts, the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools like Salesforce. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Compensation includes an annual base salary of $103,075, with an on-target variable commission of $90,000 for fully ramped representatives meeting expectations.
