As an Account Executive at NMI, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence by establishing and nurturing relationships with distribution partners and channels. This position involves promoting our comprehensive suite of payment solutions, including those tailored for unattended markets such as parking, tolls, kiosks, electric vehicle charging, and transit systems. You will collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), resellers, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), manufacturers, operators, distributors, and processors across the United States. Given the national scope of this role, travel is expected to engage with prospective clients and participate in industry events.

Your primary responsibilities will include acquiring new partner relationships to broaden market coverage and drive profitable revenue growth. You will be tasked with achieving or exceeding assigned sales quotas and performance goals. Managing a pipeline of inbound prospective partners, conducting outbound prospecting, and assisting the Partner Success team with launching and onboarding new partners with NMI's product portfolio are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will lead negotiations, coordinate complex decision-making processes, and overcome objections to generate and close new revenue through partner recruitment and acquisition.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and driven sales professional with a minimum of two years of experience in the payments industry, preferably within unattended and eCommerce solutions. Experience in negotiating partner or channel contracts is essential. You should possess a consultative sales technique with the ability to build a new business sales pipeline and close new business. A strong business acumen and hunter mentality are crucial, along with excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with and Microsoft Office applications is also required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 USD annually, depending on experience. NMI offers a remote-first culture, providing flexibility in work location.
