The Account Executive, Planning (B2B) role at WPP Media is an integral part of the Wavemaker UK B2B team, dedicated to delivering industry-leading media solutions. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, combining media, data, and partnerships to provide creative personalization at scale. In this position, the Account Executive will develop a foundational understanding of media planning across various channels, including DE+I planning and carbon-conscious media. Responsibilities encompass learning and utilizing media systems and tools such as TGI, Pathmatics, Wavemaker Architect, and AdIntel, as well as running and analyzing reports like competitive analyses and audience insights. The role also involves campaign management tasks, including updating schematics, providing media plans to clients, and assisting with financial processes like PO trackers and reconciliations.

Candidates should possess a basic understanding and competence in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. An awareness and curiosity about the media and marketing industry, including trends and challenges, are essential. The role requires the ability to research the wider industry and summarize information into actionable findings. Familiarity with industry tools and technology, such as TGI, AdIntel, and Pathmatics, is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are also important.
