Account Management Director
The Account Management Director at PitchBook Data is responsible for managing core customer relationships, focusing on sales strategy to drive expansion, renewals, and customer satisfaction. This role involves identifying growth opportunities within existing client accounts and establishing lasting relationships with key decision-makers.
Key responsibilities include achieving quarterly sales and retention goals, acting as the primary contact for a dedicated portfolio of clients, and conducting client demonstrations to showcase how the PitchBook platform meets their needs. The director will collaborate with Customer Success Managers and Associates to strategize on account retention and growth, manage the sales pipeline, and oversee the end-to-end sales cycle. Utilizing tools like Catalyst, Salesforce, Tableau, and Gong, the director will effectively manage client relationships and drive engagement through various channels.
Candidates should have a bachelor's degree (preferred) and over six years of sales or account management experience. Proven ability to close complex deals, experience with CRM tools like Salesforce, and excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. An interest in the private equity and venture capital marketplace is preferred.
