Account Manager, Company Secretarial
The Account Manager, Company Secretarial role is a key position within a newly established Registered Agent in the British Virgin Islands (BVI) offering company management services. The successful candidate will join a global team with deep industry expertise, aiming to build one of the best corporate service providers. This role is based in Hong Kong and focuses on leading the client services function.
Key responsibilities include leading the client transfer-in process and performing client onboarding, working with the Compliance Manager on KYC procedures, and acting as the primary liaison with Hong Kong-based clients. The role also involves collaborating with the BVI team to prepare certificates of incumbency and good standing, managing changes to directors, members, and beneficial owners, overseeing regulatory filings such as economic substance, maintaining accurate customer records, updating databases, coordinating with Finance for invoicing, managing transactions on VIRRGIN, and drafting minutes and resolutions to support client transactions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Corporate Governance, or other business-related disciplines, along with a minimum of 5 years' corporate services experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) are essential. The candidate should be communicative, responsive, possess good interpersonal skills, have strong analytical abilities, be detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, and an interest or experience in coding is considered a bonus.
