Account Manager, Paid Social (Maternity Cover)
The Account Manager, Paid Social (Maternity Cover) at WPP Media is a pivotal role within the Paid Social team, reporting directly to the Paid Social Account Director. This position is integral to achieving client objectives and involves the development and optimization of Paid Social activities as part of integrated multi-channel campaigns. The role requires managing campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, YouTube, and LinkedIn, while championing best practices and coordinating multi-market strategies. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for guiding and developing junior team members.
Key responsibilities include leading the planning, creation, and ongoing management of Paid Social campaigns, conducting health checks to ensure adherence to Mindshare best practices, and proactively optimizing accounts by monitoring market changes and identifying development opportunities. The role also involves creating and executing development and testing plans, preparing presentations, leading client meetings, and collaborating with the Account Director to devise and implement campaign strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess exceptional hands-on experience in Paid Social, with comprehensive knowledge of best practices. Experience in supporting, developing, and mentoring junior team members is essential. The role requires expertise in managing both Brand and Direct Response campaigns, optimizing accounts to achieve performance targets, and developing and implementing audience strategies. Proficiency in using advanced features within native and third-party Paid Social platforms, as well as tracking platforms like Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and Adobe Analytics, is also required.
