The company is seeking an Account Specialist to join their team in Eugene, Oregon. This remote-based role requires flexibility and willingness to travel within a specified region and for company-related purposes as needed.
In this role, the Account Specialist will be responsible for executing territory business plans to achieve and exceed sales goals. They will develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and key stakeholders, drive product adoption through effective customer engagement and education, and navigate complex patient pathways to support access to therapy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Market Access, Strategic Accounts, Patient Services, and Medical teams, will be essential to optimize customer and patient outcomes. Additionally, the Account Specialist will support launch execution, including pre-launch planning and post-launch adoption strategies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of direct sales experience in CNS or specialty pharmaceuticals, with a deep understanding of complex patient pathways and specialist prescriber dynamics. Experience with formulary access strategies, early market penetration tactics, and specialty pharmacy and hub services models is required. A demonstrated track record of strong, consistent performance against quota and territory goals, with evidence of execution against target metrics and year-over-year improvement, is essential. The role also requires the ability to meet the physical and mental requirements, including regular use of a computer, clear communication, and occasional movement.
The compensation package includes an annualized base salary ranging from $160,000 to $192,000 USD, with additional benefits such as a discretionary quarterly bonus, flexible wellness benefits, generous paid time off, paid holidays, and company-wide shutdowns.
