Administrative Support Assistant
Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 60 firm, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant with fluency in Korean to join our International and Immigration team in Atlanta. This role provides administrative and operational support to attorneys and paralegals within the Firm’s Immigration Practice Group, requiring exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key responsibilities include preparing and organizing prebills for attorney review, coordinating invoice creation and follow-up on billing matters, processing attorney reimbursement and check requests, and managing credit card payments for client invoices. The role also involves submitting and tracking client matter number requests, coordinating folder creation, maintaining organized electronic records within NetDocuments, processing incoming mail, printing and preparing legal documents, coordinating payments to third-party vendors, maintaining department trackers and internal reports, reserving conference rooms, and providing general administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations across the team.
The successful candidate will be fluent in Korean, with the ability to speak, read, and write proficiently. Prior experience in a law firm or professional services environment is preferred, and exposure to immigration law is a plus, though not required. Candidates should possess strong organizational and time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, a high level of professionalism and discretion, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, along with strong attention to detail and reliability in follow-through, is essential. Experience with legal billing processes, familiarity with NetDocuments or similar document management systems, and a strong client service mindset are highly preferred.
