As an AI Data Scientist at Conga, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for researching, building, evaluating, and deploying natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning capabilities that power our revenue lifecycle management solutions. You will work across traditional NLP, statistical machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI to solve complex product and business problems, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and Data Science teams to take solutions from first experiment to production at scale.

In this role, your key responsibilities will include researching and evaluating emerging NLP, machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI techniques, translating the most promising advances into practical solutions. You will design and build traditional NLP, statistical ML, deep learning, and transformer-based solutions using the right algorithms, architectures, and representations for the problem. Additionally, you will develop data pipelines, NLP preprocessing, feature representations, embeddings, and training datasets across structured and unstructured data. Establishing data-quality strategies that keep models reliable as data and use cases evolve will also be a critical part of your role.

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in NLP, machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI, with experience in developing and deploying these technologies in production environments. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch are essential. Experience with large language models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions, including prompting, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search, fine-tuning, agents, and structured generation, is highly desirable. A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles is also important.

Conga offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including robust healthcare options and 12 weeks of paid parental leave. Additional programs like Conga Cares, which provides 1:1 charitable donation matching up to $750, and Conga Stars, a social recognition program, are also available.
