AI Product Quality Specialist (Contractor)

In this role, you will be responsible for triaging and resolving product issues reported by users with speed and precision. This includes working directly in the codebase to submit and validate fixes before release. You will interpret user feedback to identify underlying problems, monitor product quality to flag patterns and systemic issues, and conduct thorough testing, including edge cases, to ensure workflows function as intended. Utilizing AI tools like Claude Code will be essential to accelerate issue resolution while maintaining sound judgment and a user-centric perspective.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in quality assurance, product management, or technical support roles for software products. Experience with AI tools, particularly Claude Code, is highly desirable. A proven track record of resolving product issues quickly and independently, the ability to interpret user feedback effectively, and strong written communication skills are essential. Comfort with working in an unstructured environment and creating personal management systems is important, as is a desire to move quickly and resolve issues promptly.
Compensation for this role is an hourly rate ranging from $20 to $30, commensurate with experience. The position is fully remote, with flexible hours, and is open to candidates based in the US or Canada. There is potential for conversion to a full-time hire based on performance and business needs.
