AI Research Engineer - Reinforcement Learning
Helsing is seeking an AI Research Engineer specializing in Reinforcement Learning to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will design, train, and deploy reinforcement learning agents in complex multi-agent environments. Your contributions will enhance our reinforcement learning stack by implementing, improving, and extending the current state-of-the-art methodologies. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to integrate cutting-edge machine learning and AI solutions into our production systems.
The ideal candidate holds an MSc in machine learning with a specialization in reinforcement learning, multi-agent systems, automation and control, or robotics. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively reporting and presenting research findings internally and externally. A passion for staying updated with current research and reimplementing or extending state-of-the-art deep learning approaches is highly valued. Proficiency in writing clean, well-structured code in Python and/or languages like Rust, Java, or modern C++, along with experience deploying AI software to production, including testing, quality assurance, and monitoring, is required.
