AI Strategy & Operations Advisor
The AI Strategy & Operations Advisor role at GHJ is a hands-on advisory position designed to assist clients in transforming their AI strategies into operational realities. Key responsibilities include assessing clients' current AI maturity, identifying tooling and workflow gaps, and developing or refining AI operationalization roadmaps with clear milestones and success metrics. The advisor will define AI governance frameworks, prioritize high-ROI AI use cases within finance, accounting, operations, and client service delivery, and partner with technology vendors and internal IT teams to evaluate and configure appropriate AI tools. Additionally, the role involves translating AI strategies into role-specific workflow changes, leading cross-functional working sessions, building internal AI capabilities through hiring and upskilling programs, and establishing dashboards to track AI initiative performance.
Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in strategy, operations, or management consulting, with at least 3 years focused on AI or advanced analytics implementation. Demonstrated ability to operationalize AI strategies within finance, accounting, or professional services environments is essential. Experience in building or advising on AI governance structures and responsible AI policies is required, along with a strong command of AI and automation tools relevant to mid-market organizations. The role demands the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels, translating executive vision into actionable execution plans, and excellent communication and facilitation skills to drive alignment across executive teams and functional leaders.
The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $150 to $200.
