The AI Website Associate at Vendasta is a pivotal role within the Website Services team, focusing on building and optimizing websites for partners and their clients using AI-enhanced workflows and tools. This position is based in Chennai, India, and operates during CST shift hours, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM IST, at the Chennai office. Vendasta is a company dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized businesses through AI-powered customer acquisition and engagement platforms.
In this role, the AI Website Associate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AI R&D and Product, to develop and refine prompt templates, automation processes, and quality assurance systems. The primary responsibilities include building, maintaining, and optimizing websites, leveraging AI-powered insights to ensure quality, accessibility, and SEO standards, and delivering exceptional client experiences.
Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in website support, digital production, or similar technical roles, with a solid foundation in managing and maintaining websites. Proficiency in CMS platforms such as WordPress, along with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and fundamental site structure principles, is essential. Familiarity with SEO and web accessibility basics, and an openness to leveraging AI-powered tools for tasks like content optimization and workflow automation, are also required.
