Alternative Delivery Transportation Project Manager
Benesch is seeking an experienced Alternative Delivery Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects utilizing alternative delivery models such as Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), and Public-Private Partnerships (P3). This role is based in either the Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee office and offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work.
In this position, you will guide multidisciplinary teams through the entire lifecycle of alternative delivery projects, from proposal and procurement to design, construction, and closeout. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and stakeholders, overseeing procurement strategies, teaming agreements, and pursuit efforts, including RFQs/RFPs, ATCs, and interviews. Additionally, you will develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk registers, fostering strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and public agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of progressive experience in project management within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry, with significant involvement in alternative delivery projects. Proven success in managing infrastructure or transportation projects is essential, along with a deep understanding of alternative delivery methods and contract mechanisms. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are required to effectively manage complex projects and diverse teams.
