AML Rules Analyst
As an AML Rules Analyst at Platacard, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our financial services. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to upholding the highest standards of anti-money laundering practices within the company. Platacard is a high-tech financial platform revolutionizing the way Mexicans interact with money, offering innovative solutions like the Plata Card, which provides up to 5% real cashback on selected purchases and a 60-day payment period.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining AML rules and monitoring systems to detect and prevent suspicious activities. You will analyze transaction data to identify patterns indicative of money laundering, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing detailed reports on AML findings and providing recommendations for process improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, with a deep understanding of AML regulations and compliance standards. Proficiency in data analysis tools and experience with transaction monitoring systems are essential. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively are crucial. A degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant certifications in anti-money laundering.
