Applications Developer

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 law firm, is seeking an Applications Developer to join its Information Technology team. This role involves designing, building, enhancing, and supporting custom business applications that drive the firm's operational efficiency. The position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and IT professionals across multiple office locations, including Columbia, Nashville, Plano, Houston, Atlanta, and Orlando.

The Applications Developer will be responsible for gathering business requirements and translating them into effective technical solutions. Key duties include developing web-based applications and services using technologies such SQL Server, and RESTful web services. The role also involves building and maintaining data integrations to ensure seamless data movement across systems, participating in the full software development lifecycle, and producing comprehensive technical documentation.

Candidates should have at least three years of professional software development experience, preferably within a professional services or law firm environment. Proficiency in building web applications using C#/.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio is essential, along with experience in designing and consuming REST-based APIs. Familiarity with modern web technologies like Blazor, MVC, JavaScript, and jQuery is required, and strong SQL Server skills are necessary. Additional experience with SSRS, Windows Server environments, IIS, Active Directory, Git-based source control, Microsoft Azure, and integration platforms such as Boomi or Intapp is advantageous.
