Applications Engineer

Latitude Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineer to join our team in Suwanee, GA. This role focuses on evaluating and integrating new technologies into commercial processes, serving as a vital link between our customers' engineering teams and our internal technical staff.

The Applications Engineer will engage directly with customers to understand and document product requirements, features, and performance characteristics. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and documenting trials, developing manufacturing methods, and coordinating the design and qualification of process lines. Additionally, the role involves creating product specifications, quality plans, test methods, work instructions, training plans, and other documentation to ensure a smooth transition to manufacturing upon development completion.

Candidates should possess a B.S. in an engineering-related field and have 5-10 years of experience in process, quality, or development engineering. Experience with flexible materials processing—such as extruding, coating, printing, and laminating—is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with quality methodologies like FMEA, DOE, and SPC are also required.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $102,000 per year.
