SentinelOne, a leading cybersecurity company specializing in AI-driven endpoint and cloud protection, is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Commercial. This role involves close collaboration with sales and partnerships teams across all organizational levels, focusing on negotiating customer contracts, channel agreements, strategic partnerships, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.

Key responsibilities include taking full ownership of commercial legal matters and strategic initiatives from start to finish, negotiating complex, high-value agreements with customers, channel partners, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders, leading senior-level commercial and legal discussions, representing Legal in executive-facing interactions, and contributing to broader business strategy. The role also involves providing business-savvy, solution-oriented legal advice on a wide range of issues, including commercial transactions, privacy, regulatory, and compliance matters, exercising sound judgment in applying and adapting legal playbooks, and partnering closely with various cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with internal policies and risk thresholds.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of combined experience at a law firm and in-house at a global company, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including a good working knowledge of SaaS agreements, technology licensing, strategic deals, and channel agreements. A J.D. or an equivalent degree from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the United States are required. A good understanding of data protection laws, including GDPR, and experience negotiating DPAs are also desired. Candidates should possess the ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines, and resolve complex problems, along with excellent oral and written communication skills.
