Assistant Store Manager
The Assistant Store Manager at Studs plays a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the studio, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for customers. As a key member of the leadership team, this position collaborates closely with the Studio Manager to uphold the studio's standards and culture. Studs, founded in 2019, is an experiential retail and e-commerce brand that has reimagined the ear piercing experience by offering consultative and expert needle piercing services, combined with a wide assortment of accessibly priced, on-trend earrings.
In this role, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily studio operations, including inventory management, supply ordering, and ensuring operational tasks are completed with precision. They track daily business performance, support the execution of sales strategies to drive revenue, and uphold compliance standards, including safety protocols and piercing regulations. Additionally, they maintain a consistent presence on the floor to guide the team and ensure an exceptional customer experience, actively support the resolution of customer concerns, and model service recovery when needed.
Candidates should have at least one year of retail management or customer-facing team leadership experience, demonstrating a track record of operational excellence. The role requires availability to work a flexible schedule of five days per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move up to 20 lbs. Comfort with handling chemicals and adherence to health and safety protocols are essential. Strong judgment, a proactive mindset, and a bias toward ownership and follow-through are key attributes for success in this position.
Compensation for this role includes an hourly rate of $20.
