Assistant Vice President, Senior Associate Counsel - Corporate

Focus Financial Partners is seeking a corporate attorney to join its in-house Legal team as Assistant Vice President, Senior Associate Counsel – Corporate. Reporting to the Deputy General Counsel/Head of Legal – Corporate, this role will support various corporate legal functions, including corporate governance, equity matters, financing, securities-related work, and other corporate initiatives. The position is available in New York, NY; St. Louis, MO; and Boston, MA.

Key responsibilities include drafting and maintaining corporate governance records such as consents, minutes, and resolutions, and preparing Board and Committee materials. The role also involves managing equity matters, including equity transfers and co-investment agreements, and coordinating financing and securities-related matters by preparing approvals and deliverables. Additionally, the attorney will help manage the company's intellectual property and brand portfolio and review corporate communications as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and be admitted and in good standing in all jurisdictions of admission. A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience at a major law firm or in-house supporting corporate legal matters is required. Strong corporate drafting and issue-spotting skills, experience supporting corporate governance, and proficiency in PowerPoint are essential. Familiarity with board portal software and equity administration platforms is a plus.

The annualized base pay range for this exempt position is expected to be between $150,000 and $185,000. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location, and the applicant's skill set. The compensation package also includes an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
