Associate Attorney
Tyson & Mendes LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Philadelphia office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for developing compelling case strategies, managing court appearances, conducting depositions, engaging in motion practice, and preparing for trials. Collaboration with attorneys and staff at all experience levels is essential, as is maintaining consistent and professional communication with clients. Additionally, the role involves building and nurturing relationships with existing and prospective clients, as well as mentoring junior attorneys to contribute to the team's growth and success.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active bar license in the state of Pennsylvania. We are seeking individuals with 1–8 years of solid litigation experience, including case strategy, depositions, and trial preparation. The ability to independently manage a full caseload from discovery through trial is crucial. Prior experience in insurance defense is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, are required.
The base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Attorneys are eligible for an annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000, with additional tiers aggregating at $7,500 each.
