WPP Media is seeking a Data Analyst to join the SAPMENA corporate team, focusing on influencer marketing and social media performance. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance go-to-market strategies. The position requires a deep understanding of social media metrics and the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives for stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include analyzing influencer marketing campaign performance by tracking metrics such as views, engagements, and mentions across various platforms and regions within SAPMENA. The analyst will also assess social media content performance to identify top-performing formats, themes, and trends, informing content strategy and optimization. Additionally, the role involves generating data-backed insights and recommendations for regional marketing teams, creating visually compelling reports and dashboards for stakeholders, conducting competitive analyses to benchmark performance against competitors, collaborating closely with regional marketing teams and influencer marketing agencies, and contributing to the development and refinement of data analysis methodologies, tools, and dashboards.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, along with 2-3 years of experience in data analysis, particularly in social marketing and media analytics. A strong understanding of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, and their respective metrics is essential. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are also required. Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in other SAPMENA languages is advantageous. Knowledge of the SAPMENA market and cultural nuances is a plus.
