Associate Director - Search
As an Associate Director - Search at WPP Media, you will lead the development and execution of paid search strategies within the Global Operations Centre (GOC). This role involves collaborating with teams across the U.S., Europe, and Asia to deliver world-class search marketing solutions. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, bringing together media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale.
Your primary responsibilities will include acting as the global lead for paid search marketing, developing channel strategies that drive measurable results, and representing the GOC in all search-specific client and market interactions. You will oversee campaign setup, keyword strategy, bidding, ad copy optimization, and audience targeting, utilizing automation and machine learning features to enhance efficiency. Additionally, you will analyze campaign data to deliver actionable insights and build advanced reporting frameworks to monitor key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in digital marketing with a deep focus on paid search. Hands-on expertise in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Search Ads 360, and other search management tools is essential. Experience managing multi-market, large-budget search campaigns at scale, familiarity with feed management, automation scripts, and AI-driven bidding strategies are also required. Strong proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools, along with a data-first, analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills, are crucial for success in this role.
