Associate General Counsel (AGC)

Uphold is seeking an Associate General Counsel (AGC) to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of the legal department, the AGC will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal guidance across various facets of our operations. The AGC will be responsible for overseeing a broad range of legal matters, including regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, corporate governance, and risk management. Day-to-day responsibilities will involve drafting and reviewing contracts, advising on legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar. A minimum of 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in the financial services or technology sectors, is required. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
