Atlassian Cloud Migration Engineer

This role involves leading migration projects, remediating ScriptRunner scripts for Cloud compatibility, and collaborating closely with client stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.

As an Atlassian Cloud Migration Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include planning and executing migrations using JCMA and CCMA, managing the entire process from test runs to final cutover. You will inventory existing ScriptRunner scripts, determining whether to retire, replace with Jira Automation, or rewrite them for ScriptRunner for Cloud. Additionally, you will engage directly with client stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), oversee the cutover process, and provide comprehensive handover documentation.

Ideal candidates should have significant experience in Atlassian Cloud migrations, with a strong background in ScriptRunner for Cloud remediation. Proficiency in Groovy scripting and Jira administration is essential. Excellent client-facing communication skills are crucial for this role. Desirable qualifications include experience with Jira Automation, Forge, JSM migrations, and Atlassian certifications such as ACP-120.
