The firm is seeking a fully remote Attorney specializing in Property Casualty and 1st Party Property cases to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex cases while working from any location.
As a Property Casualty/1st Party Property Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume caseload, overseeing approximately 150 cases, with around 50 actively in litigation each month. Your duties will include guiding each case from intake through settlement or jury verdict, maintaining proactive and transparent communication with clients, conducting depositions, drafting and responding to motions, leading mediations, and developing comprehensive case strategies. Additionally, you will serve as lead counsel in jury trials, advocating passionately to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years practicing personal injury or civil litigation, with 5-8 years preferred. Experience on either the plaintiff or defense side is valuable, though plaintiff-side experience for civil litigation is preferred. Licensure in good standing with the local State Bar is required, with multiple state bar admissions preferred. Extensive jury trial experience and a deep understanding of the Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence are essential. Exceptional communication skills are necessary to articulate case strategies and engage effectively with clients and team members.
