The B2B Collections & Recovery Senior Analyst at Wellhub is a pivotal role within the Financial Solutions New Ventures team, based in São Paulo, Brazil. In this role, the analyst will design and implement both preventive and reactive collection strategies tailored for B2B receivables discounting products. Responsibilities include executing high-level recovery strategies to reduce portfolio aging, improving roll rates, and maximizing the recovery of overdue assets to safeguard company liquidity. The analyst will also monitor credit instruments to detect early signs of fraud or payment diversions and lead complex debt restructuring negotiations, formalizing debt acknowledgment agreements with partners. Additionally, the role involves managing and reporting on allowances for doubtful accounts and collection performance metrics using SQL and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Candidates should have proven experience in B2B collections and asset recovery, particularly within receivables discounting or corporate credit markets. A strong ability to analyze SMEs' financial statements to assess debt repayment capacity and creditworthiness is essential. Proficiency in SQL for portfolio segmentation and experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker are required. A solid understanding of credit assignment contracts and collateral structures is necessary, along with a proactive mindset capable of identifying early warning signs of fraud or liquidity issues. The role demands a hands-on approach, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to build processes from the ground up. Advanced English proficiency is required for global reporting and collaboration with international teams.
