Backend Engineer (DEX/ Python/Node.js)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their decentralized exchange (DEX) team. This role focuses on enhancing cross-chain liquidity and optimizing swap processes, contributing to the development of API services and trade routing logic to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining API services to support DEX functionalities, designing and implementing trade routing logic for cross-chain swaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features, monitoring and enhancing system performance and reliability, and troubleshooting issues related to trade execution and API functionalities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Node.js or Python development, a strong understanding of SQL databases and Redis for data management, and experience with decentralized exchange systems and cross-chain protocols. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, are essential.
