Backend Engineer (DEX/ Python/Node.js)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our dynamic decentralized exchange (DEX) team. In this role, you will focus on enhancing cross-chain liquidity and optimizing swap processes, contributing to the development of cutting-edge financial technologies.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining API services to support decentralized exchange functionalities, designing and implementing trade routing logic to optimize cross-chain swaps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improvements. Additionally, you will monitor and enhance the performance and reliability of existing systems and troubleshoot issues related to trade execution and API functionalities.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Node.js or Python development, a strong understanding of SQL databases and Redis for data management, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with decentralized exchange systems and cross-chain protocols is a plus, along with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
