BI Developer
As a BI Developer at WPP Media, you will be responsible for building and maintaining Power BI solutions that enable specialists and clients to monitor media performance effectively. This role focuses on developing user-friendly dashboards, establishing robust data streams, and creating well-structured data models to support reliable reporting at scale. You will collaborate closely with engineers, data scientists, client teams, and customers to translate business needs into technical BI solutions, often integrating outputs from various measurement and analytics projects into clear, actionable reporting.
Key responsibilities include designing and developing Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and consistency, and optimizing data models for performance. You will establish and maintain data streams, integrate data from multiple sources, and provide technical support to end-users. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, along with experience in building and maintaining Power BI solutions both independently and collaboratively. Proficiency in SQL and experience working in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud/BigQuery, are essential. A good understanding of data flow and data modeling to support stable reporting is required. Fluency in English and a good understanding of Swedish in both speech and writing are necessary.
