Job Description – Litigation Paralegal (Personal Injury)
We are a plaintiff personal injury law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, seeking a highly organized, full-time Litigation Paralegal. In this role, you will work directly with attorneys and staff to manage case files, including drafting and filing discovery requests and responses, preparing pleadings and motions, and maintaining court calendars. You will also be responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments, tracking medical treatment, coordinating with experts, and communicating case updates to clients, insurers, and providers.
This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and collaborative work environment.
Responsibilities
Draft and review legal documents including complaints, pleadings, motions, demand letters, discovery requests (interrogatories, requests for production, subpoenas), and responses Prepare witness statements and deposition summaries Track and organize client case files in Filevine, manage court deadlines, and update calendars Assist with remote court filings Coordinate client appointments and medical follow-ups Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates Contact medical providers and insurers to verify coverage, file claims, obtain records, and resolve billing or lien issues Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations Assist in calculating potential settlements and preparing settlement agreements Perform additional legal administrative tasks as needed
