Bilingual (Spanish) High Value Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful, is seeking a Bilingual (Spanish) High Value Case Manager to join their team in Miami, Florida. This role involves managing a varied caseload, assisting attorneys in developing settlements, and preparing necessary documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, customer-focused, and empathetic.
Key responsibilities include daily interactions with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers, both via phone and in person. The Case Manager will order medical records from providers, communicate with clients and providers during the course of treatment, and obtain documents necessary to support injury and/or liability positions. Additionally, the role involves interacting with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers, and negotiating deductions of outstanding medical balances with providers. Maintaining organized case files, preparing comprehensive demands, and assembling support for submission to carriers are also essential duties. The Case Manager will work directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case files and interact with attorneys to present case synopses when required.
Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's degree, with prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager preferred. A minimum of two years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is also preferred. Strong negotiating skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in managing a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook are required. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
