Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst
The Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst at PitchBook Data plays a pivotal role within the Finance team, which manages all financial operations, including accounting, quote-to-cash processes, payroll, compliance, and budgeting. PitchBook Data, a subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc., is a leading provider of comprehensive data, research, and insights spanning the global capital markets. In this role, the analyst will be responsible for reviewing contracts to ensure revenue and billing compliance, creating invoice and revenue schedules for signed contracts, and collaborating with sales teams to address billing and customer setup inquiries. Additional duties include responding to customer and employee inquiries regarding billing and collections, communicating remittance information to the outsourced cash application team, contacting clients to resolve past-due invoices, submitting invoices in client accounts payable portals, supporting customer phone inquiries, compiling documentation for third-party collection submissions, ensuring billing and collection notes are up to date and complete, maintaining clean master data through collaboration with corporate teams, assisting with month-end closing duties, and supporting various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Candidates should have at least two years of successful experience in an Accounts Receivable role, strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment is essential. Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software. An accounting degree is a plus, as is functional knowledge of Revenue 606. Experience with Salesforce and Oracle is also beneficial.
The compensation for this position includes a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 5%.
