Bridge Design Project Engineer
Benesch, a growing multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm, is seeking a Bridge Design Project Engineer to join their Tennessee division. This role offers an opportunity to work on complex bridge and retaining wall design projects within a collaborative team environment. The position is based in either Franklin or Nashville, Tennessee, with a hybrid work schedule.
As a Bridge Design Project Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing structural and geometrical calculations for bridge design projects. You will lead structural designers, develop and review plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports, and perform modeling and analysis. Additionally, you will review and sign off on basic design calculations, quantities, and plan elements, and coordinate development with other project elements and disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and a Professional Engineer (PE) License in Tennessee or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity. A minimum of 4 years of bridge design experience is required, with proficiency in Bentley CAD and structural design software. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential.
