The Business Development Manager (KOL) will lead initiatives within the Chinese-speaking cryptocurrency market. This remote role within the APAC region is ideal for a results-driven individual fluent in Mandarin and English, with a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem, especially derivatives and exchange operations. The successful candidate will focus on developing partnerships, engaging with influencers, analyzing regional trends, and collaborating across teams to support growth and innovation.
Key responsibilities include identifying, negotiating, and establishing collaborations with token projects and key stakeholders in the Chinese-speaking crypto ecosystem to enhance product offerings and market presence. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with KOLs, influencers, and community leaders to strengthen brand presence and drive platform adoption. Additionally, the manager will track and analyze local market trends, competition, and regulatory developments to support informed decision-making and business strategy. Collaboration with marketing, product, and compliance teams is essential to align growth strategies with operational goals and regional regulations. Representing the company at events, conferences, and media opportunities within Chinese-speaking markets is also a key aspect of the role.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the crypto and blockchain industry, with a strong focus on derivatives trading. Fluency in Mandarin and English, along with strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, is essential. Demonstrated success in forming strategic partnerships and managing influencer/KOL relationships in the crypto sector is required. Previous experience working with or for a crypto exchange, with familiarity in regional compliance and regulation, is preferred. The candidate should be highly adaptable and comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments, with strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities. Comfort working across multicultural and cross-functional teams is also important.
