Business Development Manager - Talent / Recruitment (AI ML, Fintech, Blockchain Ecosystems)
Hyphen Connect is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our recruitment team focused on the crypto, blockchain, AI, and fintech trading sectors. This role involves expanding our network and securing new accounts, with the potential to engage in some 360 recruitment activities. The primary focus will be on driving business development initiatives, ensuring our growth as a platform for top web3 and emerging tech talent.
Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the crypto, blockchain, AI, ML, and fintech industries. The role also involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners and potential clients, collaborating with the recruitment team to align business development strategies with company goals, negotiating and closing business deals that increase revenue and market presence, participating in 360 recruitment activities as needed, and tracking and reporting on performance metrics to optimize business development activities.
The ideal candidate should preferably be based in Hong Kong for hybrid work, as we are mostly remote but work better with a few days onsite. Proven experience in business development within the recruitment industry is essential, with the ability to onboard an average of 1-2 accounts per month (no regional restrictions) or source 5-10 new jobs per month. A strong understanding of the crypto, blockchain, AI, and/or fintech markets is required, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. The candidate should have the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships, be self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets, and possess flexibility to adapt and engage in different facets of recruitment, including 360 activities.
We offer vesting ownership of accounts post if you decide to leave, guaranteed income on deals under your accounts, and a start small, then grow big setup: you can join as a freelancer without too much commitment, and once your accounts mature, you can join us full-time. Additionally, there is a chance to leverage specialist recruiters in blockchain, fintech, and banking to build your brand as a connector, as well as knowledge transfer from the team and specialists within their networks (shared office setup with blockchain teams).
