The Business Systems Analyst serves as the Technology organization's internal consultant to Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. This role advises business unit leaders on technology capabilities and constraints, translates operational strategy into actionable system requirements, and ensures that technology investments align with business performance objectives. The BSA leads the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from advising senior leadership on technical feasibility and strategic soundness to developing functional specifications for engineering execution.

Key responsibilities include developing functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. The BSA evaluates conflicting stakeholder input, makes recommendations on requirements scope, and drives resolution in collaboration with stakeholders and project leadership. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and enforcing the Technology organization's requirements management standards, documentation templates, and quality review protocols, ensuring requirements readiness for engineering handoff.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. They possess three or more years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in a technology-driven organization. Demonstrated experience in leading requirements development end-to-end, proactively identifying scope and priority conflicts, and serving as a trusted requirements resource for engineering teams is essential. Experience in fintech, financial services, or investment platforms is strongly preferred.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $85,000 to $135,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
