C++ Software Engineer, 3D Desktop Application

Formlabs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Desktop team in Budapest, Hungary. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in developing and shipping PreForm, our leading 3D print preparation application. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a world-class product that empowers users to create exceptional 3D prints consistently.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for cross-platform application development using C++ and Qt for both Windows and macOS. Your day-to-day tasks will include end-to-end feature development encompassing design, implementation, and automated testing. Collaborating closely with product managers and designers, you will ensure the delivery of well-structured, maintainable code with a strong focus on testing and continuous integration.

The ideal candidate will have full-stack application development experience and the ability to architect and implement complex software products. A proactive attitude, willingness to take initiative, and eagerness to learn from challenges are essential. Additionally, experience leading projects and working with remote stakeholders, as well as familiarity with automated software build systems, are advantageous.
