The Case Manager in Training position at Morgan & Morgan is designed to prepare individuals for a future role as a Case Manager within the firm. This entry-level role involves rotating support across various attorneys and case staff, providing comprehensive exposure to case management processes. In this role, you will assist Case Managers and Attorneys in organizing and maintaining client files, gaining exposure to caseloads of 100+ cases. Responsibilities include submitting check requests for records such as medical documentation, accident reports, driving history, and vehicle information. You will support demand preparation by gathering and organizing case documents electronically, handle certified mail processing, and perform general administrative tasks including typing, operating office equipment, and sorting. Additionally, you will support electronic file management, prepare and send standard letters, and assist in drafting and sending demand letters to build knowledge of negotiation and settlement.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Insurance Adjuster, or in a support role, preferably in a law firm setting or corporate legal department. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and demonstrate attention to detail are essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good presentation skills, are required. Proficiency in computer programs, databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and typing at least 35 words per minute is necessary. A willingness to learn and work with multiple employees within the organization is also important.
