Case Manager
Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a dedicated Case Manager to join our team in Raleigh. This role involves working closely with attorneys to manage a diverse caseload, ensuring each case progresses efficiently from intake to resolution. As a Case Manager, you will interact daily with clients, both existing and potential, through telephone and in-person meetings. Your responsibilities include ordering medical records, communicating with clients and providers during treatment, and obtaining necessary documents to support injury and liability positions. You will also interact with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances, maintain organized case files, and prepare comprehensive demands for submission to carriers under attorney supervision.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree and has prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager. A minimum of two years in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster is preferred. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to client and provider interactions are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are required.
