In this role, the Chattel Closing Specialist I will collaborate directly with borrowers and builders throughout the loan funding process. Key responsibilities include conducting funding interviews, obtaining employment and address verifications, reviewing and validating signed closing documents, and maintaining regular follow-ups for document signatures and loan status updates. The specialist will also be responsible for understanding all closing documents, workflows, and policies, accurately managing funding conditions, adhering to compliance timing requirements, and effectively communicating with the accounting department for final funding.
Ideal candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office and demonstrate strong time management, multitasking, and organizational skills. Experience in manufactured home loans is preferred, along with a college education. The role requires the ability to work effectively under pressure, communicate clearly with clients and team members, and adjust to varying work situations. Willingness to travel to the home office in Chandler, AZ, up to four times per year, is also expected.
