Chief of Staff, Content & Discovery

As the Chief of Staff for Canva's Content & Discovery (C&D) team, you will serve as a strategic partner to the C&D Lead, enhancing the team's capacity and impact. The C&D team, comprising over 500 members, is integral to Canva's mission by developing a diverse and inspiring content library and facilitating user access to relevant content. This role is based in Sydney, Australia, with flexible working options available.

Your primary responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to the C&D Lead, contributing to product strategy, and refining major initiatives across content supply, discovery, and user experience. You will represent the Lead in various forums, ensuring discussions are centered on user impact and clear success metrics. Additionally, you will drive key projects, manage planning cadences, and oversee the operations team to enhance roadmap visibility and performance tracking.

The ideal candidate possesses over 8 years of experience in strategy, product management, general management, or business leadership, preferably within SaaS or product-led organizations. Strong commercial acumen, product judgment, and the ability to connect user impact with business outcomes are essential. Excellent communication skills, operational expertise, and a high ownership mindset are also critical for success in this role.
