The role
The Chief of Staff sits at the center of the CEO office, working day-to-day with the CEO, COO, CFO, and CTO. This is one of the highest-leverage roles at Primer.

The job has two dimensions. The first is making the CEO office more effective: turning thinking into action, keeping commitments on track, and absorbing work that would otherwise fragment across the executive team. The second is making the company more effective: running the operating rhythm, owning cross-functional delivery, and surfacing things that fall between teams.

This is not a coordinator role. We are looking for someone who can hold context across the entire business, move from strategy to execution without losing altitude, and be trusted to operate with minimal oversight across the full executive team.

🔍 WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

CEO office leverage

- Step in for the CEO, COO, and CFO on projects and workstreams that need senior ownership but not their direct time - from kicking off a critical strategic initiative to seeing a complex internal program through to completion

- Own the follow-through on exec team decisions: turn what was agreed in a meeting into a clear next step, an owner, and a deadline - and make sure it happens

- Run special projects end-to-end: coordinate a strategic review, build the comprehensive analysis ahead of board discussions
