Client Development Director
The Client Development Director at WPP Media is responsible for spearheading significant opportunities across all WPP Media clients, focusing on both proprietary business and agency groups. This role involves acting as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying value-add opportunities within the media ecosystem, and effectively integrating these into activation teams. Key responsibilities include supporting the full agency solution function, leading cross-channel agency teams, and building strategic proposals based on client campaign objectives. The role requires managing and optimizing cross-channel campaigns across various media touchpoints such as ATV, digital, social, DOOH, and programmatic. Additionally, the Client Development Director is expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and market contacts, present existing and new capabilities to clients, and identify new opportunities to grow incremental revenue through product offerings.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong understanding of agency processes and structures, particularly within partnership and content teams. Excellent presentation and numerical skills are essential, along with the ability to quickly analyze commercial constructs and opportunities. The role demands autonomy, with the responsibility to deliver predefined and agreed goals, and requires creative problem-solving skills to successfully achieve objectives.
Compensation for this position ranges from AUD 150,000 to 180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
