Cloud Security Engineer
The Cloud Security Engineer at Mesh will be responsible for architecting and safeguarding the company's digital infrastructure, integrating security measures throughout the DevSecOps lifecycle. This role involves designing secure, scalable cloud environments and implementing proactive risk management strategies to ensure system resilience.
Key responsibilities include leading platform and infrastructure development by creating scalable systems using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), managing cloud resources and DNS operations, and deploying security measures such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), Content Delivery Networks (CDN), and network firewalls. The engineer will also drive CI/CD automation by integrating security gates and automated secret rotation into development pipelines, enforce robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols, and advance security operations through the implementation of SIEM, SOAR, and XDR platforms.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with over 15 years of experience in information technology security. Hands-on experience with Azure is required, and familiarity with GCP or AWS is advantageous. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and Terragrunt, container orchestration security including Kubernetes, and security platforms such as Cloudflare is essential. Knowledge of IT management frameworks and regulations like ISO 27001/2, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, and DORA is beneficial.
