The Commercial Account Executive (AE) at Klaviyo is a pivotal role within the sales team, focusing on the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This position is based in Sydney, Australia, and involves managing the entire sales cycle for small and medium-sized business (SMB) prospects. In this role, the AE is responsible for identifying and qualifying new opportunities within the commercial segment across Australia and New Zealand. The day-to-day activities include managing a high-velocity pipeline, conducting product demonstrations, and driving the buying process to closure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, partnerships, and customer success is essential to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for clients.

The ideal candidate possesses over three years of sales experience, with at least two years in SaaS or Martech focusing on new logo acquisition. A proven track record in managing SMB or commercial-sized deals involving multiple stakeholders is crucial. Strong collaboration skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, a self-starter attitude, and a data-driven approach to decision-making are highly valued. Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Gong, and Clari, along with experience in structured sales methodologies like MEDDICC, is preferred.

Klaviyo offers a base salary of $100,000 AUD for this position. The total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation for sales roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
