Commercial Counsel
AlertMedia is seeking a business-minded attorney with a solid understanding of technology contracts and experience in managing and negotiating a high volume of commercial transactions ranging from SMB customers to Fortune 100 global enterprises. As the lead attorney, you will work on a variety of innovative legal issues across the company, leveraging your expertise, good judgment, and strong business sense to support growth while assessing and mitigating legal risk.
In this role, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and revising a high volume of commercial agreements, including SaaS subscription agreements, MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, procurement agreements, and vendor contracts. You will operate effectively within an SLA-driven contracting environment, ensuring alignment with AlertMedia’s risk profile, legal requirements, and business objectives. Additionally, you will leverage AI-enabled legal tools and contract lifecycle management systems to improve productivity and streamline processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing a substantial volume of contracts in a fast-paced, SLA-oriented legal environment. Strong commercial judgment is essential, with the ability to negotiate agreements pragmatically and efficiently while balancing legal protections with business objectives. Experience supporting SaaS, technology, or subscription-based businesses is preferred. Proficiency in using AI tools and legal technology to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness is also desired.
