is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join our dynamic Legal team. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, customer-facing master data services agreements (MDSAs), and order forms. The Commercial Counsel will collaborate closely with our Sales organization and play a pivotal role in supporting Apollo's rapid growth.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating MDSAs and data processing agreements (DPAs) with customers, ensuring efficient closure of new and renewal revenue deals. The role also encompasses first-line review of customer order forms, addressing issues promptly to maintain deal momentum. Additionally, the Commercial Counsel will handle a variety of other commercial agreements, such as vendor, marketing, partnership, and reseller agreements, while working closely with the Product and Privacy Counsel to proactively engage with the Product team.

The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state. A minimum of 7 years of experience in law firm or in-house settings, focusing on commercial transactions or contracts, is required. Significant in-house SaaS experience drafting and negotiating MDSAs and DPAs is essential. The candidate should demonstrate a track record of building scalable legal infrastructure, the ability to operate autonomously on complex issues, and strong communication skills tailored to diverse audiences. A genuine enthusiasm for partnering with Sales and a positive attitude are also crucial.
